Small things
There’s something very special about touching artefacts rather than seeing them on a computer screen. These little scraps of used paper were Georgiana’s embroidery patterns, drawn onto the backs of old letters.
(The photograph was taken using a tablecloth crocheted by my own great-grandmother as the background. She made it for her wedding, about thirty years after Georgiana was using these patterns.)
